No, I work for a private agency called Tender Touch Home & Health Care and my boss is an LPN and has about 5-6 employees and I'm the second one on the ladder. I only see my boss every two weeks on payday though (which would be tomorrow!!) and other than that, we don't normally communicate! She doesn't feel she needs to keep tab of me
We respect each other tremendously. She's the GREATEST!

ok for some reason I cant give rep to anyone AT ALL
I have gone through at least five pages trying to give rep and I keep getting that I must spread it around first...did I break the rep?
or can you not give rep after getting so many points? cause this shouldnt be happening...will try later on when I get back on the computer and if it doesnt work then I'm blaming boo for breaking it

Hello everyone, I am back after nearly 1 month of absence in this thread. And now when I am trying to browse back page by page, oh my God, it seems to have hundreds of page to read. So I give up after the 10th pages back
My kid started daycare at the beginning of Sept and had difficulties to adapt to it. Well, the first time to be officially away from family for a full day (8 working hours, lol). And the most obstacle is language barrier - she cannot speak nor understand English, so she keep distance to everyone and is so isolated. She is quite different from the girl we know at home: active, talkative, funny, lovely. At school, she is shy, silent, passive. And as being warned by the teacher, she got a cold since then and it still lasts until now - so she has cough, running nose (but now it becomes dried and clogged), difficulty to breathe in, vomit a lot when coughing, eczema, and I am 99% sure that she gets asthma (though doctors cannot confirm until the age of 5). Oh, even I do not go to work, I feel so tired with her during the first month at school and no relief at all as expected after years of taking care of her. In addition to that, with 8 "free" hours everyday, I spend time running from stores to stores to catch the sales and deals - and when I come back home, struggling with bills, receipts, flyers, and of course reading from good deal threads to make plan for my next day's shopping run, ehhhh. So basically I even have less free time than before and I have to give up all of my studies and research, just to focus on making best use of money spent, lol. Well, we are a student family and I have no income, and now with the girl at school we have to pay tuition and some extra fees (it is 7$ daycare but well, it still costs us additional 200$ per month).
Phew, I vent it out. That's my whole excuse for being away from P&P thread for a long time. And as I see it, the time to come may be become even worse since I will pursue a full-day course for the straight 12 weeks. It means that I have to make shopping trips out of normal hours and cut back to my home hours, i.e time to surf this and other threads on SC and Internet. Oh, it is such a mess. We just have only 1 kid so far and cannot manage our life smoothly and comfortably.
Anyway, I miss you all a lot and feel so regret for not being able to join our chat. Hope that I will soon find a way to compromise with my time and money restraints to enjoy my surfing here and there. Take care everyone, the flu season is so bad and I hate winter in Canada (oh well, winter everywhere frankly).

Aww MewMew, we can cry on each other's shoulder, I don't have the kids, but I feel the financial strain. Today, I went into such a deep depression, I even scared myself! Sit back, grab a cuppa, shut off the computer, tv, all noise, and just mellow out best ya can! Its been a long time since I cried ... but shoot! life's getting to me .. pls slow down ...

Thank you everyone for the words especially Marjem, gave rep where i could. Woohoo so glad that contest is finally over! Good luck to all of you that had enteries in it! Ns so sorry you are having such a rough time with your son sounds to me like you are doing a fantastic job main thing being you really care and aren't ignoring or making excuses but acting and disciplining. That is hard and so many parents won't do it anymore shoot you go tell a parent there kid is doing something wrong and are lucky if the parent doesn't attack you for it or they are so busy making excuses for their kids bad behavior that they won't correct it.
good job! NOW everyone just knock off being sick get better NOW! Geez that stuff hangs around forever and a day! Have a good nite everyone!
