Hi all, just back from voting again. Been a heck of a day, had my first colonoscopy & for those of you that have never had one, boy do you have something to look forward to, especially all the prep work. Had good report, no polyps, just diverticulosis.

They gave her good drugs so she felt no pain though

LOLcat, i think it's an awesome idea to get the kids involved. maybe you could do tie dye? ya know, like the 60's tshirts? that way it doesn't have to be puurfect.

getting the girls involved would help them connect with the baby too.

Sorry to hear about all the in-law problems. It really could be far worse, at least you got the good end of the deal (in-laws could be great and spouse could leave something to be desired).

I almost went down that path a few years back, was dating a decent enough fellow. It wasn't until I turned down a couple of romantic dinners with him to first stay at home with his mom and play cards and then to go out to a play with his aunt, that I realized I was dating him cause I was in love with his family. Unfortunately, I had more in common with them than with him, so I broke it off to be fair to him.

I'm lucky in that I chose to be a spinster forever (and proud of it). ;-)
