I cannot watch those scarry movies anymore - they'll give
me nightmares LOL The last one I tried to watch was the
one with the 'doll' that came to life. After a few minutes,
my heart couldn't take it LOL
My favorites are the suspense ones with no gore, no blood -
just a whodunnit kind of movie.'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'

I love the suspense ones, too. I watch a lot of movies that have gore, but I usually turn my head, or hold my hand in front of my eyes.
I love the original Halloween movie. It was scary without being gory. I watch it every year.
The doll that came to life. I guess that would be Chucky.

i can't watch scary movies because they scare me and I can't sleep
My son's dad was a no show yesterday to pick up our son so I got to spend yesterday with him. We ended up watching Kit Kittredge, it was a great movie and I even cried. It was a really good family movie. After that we ended up watching High School Musical (again)
It was a really, really nice evening, movies and popcorn with my son. His dad pisses me off though that he would bail like that that. I just try to show my son that he has one stable parent that he can rely on for anything at anytime.

Well, hubby just got up (we didn't make it to church today) & he is sick!!! Has that sinus crap everybody seems to have & of course it's the worse case ever. Isn't it funny that we have to keep going no matter what, but a sniffle puts them in the bed.
Ok, I'm finished ranting, guess he really is sick. 'm looking forward to going shopping this afternoon by MYSELF.
I have a $75 gift card & I'm buying a new comforter for our bedroom & have 2 free items to pick up at Yankee Candle & Bath & Body Works. YEAH

I love anything horror/suspense unless it's just cut them up. That bores me. We have got The Strangers here, just came out on Tuesday, about ghosts I think, looks fantastic haven't had time to watch it. Jettred isnt' ath funny? Yeah, same here with mine. SO annoying. Tg they dont have ot carry the babies the population would be down....

Happy Sunday y'all
I don't know if we're allowed to post random links on here, but a friend of mine just emailed this to me and I found it quite interesting: 'Did You Know?' video created by Sony for a meeting of their executives in June of this year. A MUST watch and a real wake up call.

John did apologize to me twice. I dont watch scary movies. I like medival movies, suspense and mystery. I had to take john to er for his ingrown toenail friday night, and the doctor there told me that his doctor needs to remove the toenail instead of her procedure to get this to stop. Hes had it done about 7 times in last 2 years. So I am thanful we got to see a helpful doc in the er.

OMG that's it... Chucky! I think the 2nd one was the one I couldn't
watch... he had a girlfriend that looked like him ugh!!! LOL
Hey Hun I went through that when my daughter was young - doing smething special like you did is the best thing to do. We'd do little
appetizers (crackers & cheese etc...) popcorn and snuggle on the
couch with a blanket & watch a movie. She still remembers those
days - talks about doing those little great things and not the fact
that her Dad was a no-show.'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'

Must admit, it's more fun without someone 'tagging' along
saying things like... "You almost done? ... or "Do you really
need that" Nothing like shopping with a gift card! Have fun!!
I heard The Strangers is suppose to be a good one - once you've
seen it, please let me know how you liked it. Ghosts are fine as
long as they don't chase anyone with an axe or something LOL'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.'
