Just called to make a doctors appointment for some strange reason they have no openings till the end of August (basically 2 weeks)**Shaking Fist**. So the receptionanist told me I could talk to the nurse and she could help with over the counter stuff till I get an appoinment. Guess what she told me to do? Get a pregnancy test She insists that my symptoms are similar of those when your pregnent. But then again Im sure Id notice if I were pregnent (I hope ). I figure I might as wait to get an appointment and see what my GI says. I figured it out why I was feeling like crap and having diarrhea. I was constipated and I guess it just backed up so much plus eatting chinese foo (isnt the best thing). When I eat a lot of fat and grease it causs me to go more (which is a good thing but sine it was so bad it kinda got by which is why I had diarrhea. (IM SO SMRT ).
I have the house to myself So peaceful.
Anyways off for a nap.

Hope everyone has had a good summer. Haven't been able to be around much lately, started a new job last month. It was tough starting over after working for the one & only company 36 years, but I hope things are going to work out--so far I really like it. I was looking for work for a little over 6 months & had only been working a week when my husband got laid off for the 2nd time time year. He is an electrician and the construction industry has really been hit hard especially in this area. He has been battling with depression so we have had our share of stress this year!! Hopefully things will get back to normal (whatever that is) soon!!

i am sitting here, it's peaceful... but the storm is supposed to happen. dh made me close all the windows. talk about a gorgeous sunny week! never seen anything like it. kinda looking forward to some "interesting weather". sunny days get so boring after a bit. lol.

my feet are swelling up *again* so that means it's time to get off the comp. hello to all the new ppl. nice to see some new faces. but u guys are too damn quiet lately.

actually the rains have started, and my 2 rabbits instead of staying nice and cozy in the dog house, are out running around in it. they're mini rex's. their fur, if it gets wet loses it's softness according to the prev owner. my husband laffs at that. ok, well, when he goes to bring them in and they feel like towels that were left to dry on the line....

How much water are you drinking? Sometimes not being hydrated enough has the oppposite effect & causes swelling (been there, done that). Maybe try drinking more water? Also, try soaking your feet in lukewarm water.

When I was on dialysis, I was *very* limited in terms of how much I was allowed to drink, & yet my feet were always swollen. The only thing I could do that actually worked was soaking my feet & it worked quite well.

Are you feeling better these days?

You're right, it IS too quiet in here these days. We need you, RQ & Aph back in here to stir up trouble. Stop playing with those pirates & get back in here!

Good morning everyone. Hope all of you in the east are faring well in the weather.

DH and I slept in, and DS had to remind us to get up. It doesn't help that he refused to eat his dinner last night and was starving. OOPS!! We're not the kind of people that will make a new meal if he doesn't like his first. It's not very often that he doesn't eat anything, but last night he just refused. He's been eating like a bird anyways lately.

Anyways, I hope everyone is safe and dry.

raining cats and dogs here bg, the rabbits decided to finally go in their house (when it stopped raining) but they din't come out since. so they're cozy and dry now in a doghouse fulla hay.

no wind. lights flickered, and then the kitchen went out. blair said power is out. he must be deaf. i said, don't u hear the tv going? we musta blown a fuse. sure enuf. the one the air cond is on. quick fix there. don't know wot caused it tho. nothing else was running at the time.

bg: how are ur plants doing ya won? mine are doing good, the purple ones are spreading, but the white ones din't get really big. but i'm happy with them. cost me more to put them in that what the plants are probably worth..(the dirt there was crap, had to buy bags of soil and mulch). we're supposed to give them feedback, and i've been TRYING grr to upload the pics, and it's not working. *fume* i hate samsung...

so, i screwed up something i'm working on for lolcat (shhhhh). so i'm going to take a break fr it and give her a call if i can find her number in amongst the mess of pms i got.

oh andit, it's the heat and prolly sitting too long. i'm trying to drink more water. the humidex is 33/34. and i know yer used to that in toronto but we're not here on the breezy coast. supposed to be like that next week altho i can't see it with temps hovering around 23. pray for slightly cooler weather for my feet.

as for pirates.. ya that game is getting me off bigtime. aph can fill ya in. some players just make it hard for the rest of us. so hopefully next week if nothing goes wrong with the dh, i'll be around more. esp after WEDNESDAY, THE 2ND, SCHOOL IS IN RYAN GOES ALLLLL DAY YAY ME!!!!

I won't normally ask this of the group but I'm a little desperate right now. My husband is a writer and he's entered an erotic writing contest. Voting closes tonight at midnight and we would greatly appreciate any votes as we're just been knocked out of the lead. My hubby has always wanted the grand prize which is a latex vac bed and I really want him to have it. I've been contesting for a number of year now with great sucess, but my hubby has never won a thing in his life. Honestly!

I saw on the news that Nova Scotia is getting the storm. I thought of you, NS. My flight to Vancouver was cancelled. We didn't even get the storm. Now I have to leave at 6 am tomorrow morning.

I don't know why I can't sign into Smart Canucks using my Blackberry. That sucks. I joined Twitter, so I'll be tweeting about my trip to Vancouver. Of course I'll be updating on Facebook. I can't wait to see Jared.

My plants are doing alright. They kind of took a kicking when we went away for four days, but it looks like they're coming back a little bit. They're in planters, so they don't have much room to spread. They have started spilling over the edges, though.

Can't wait to see you back a little more. Hope Blair is alright and you figure out what is going on.

Haven't been around for ages but I've been thinking of you guys - not on the computer so much during the summer. And of course, PS is still very much an obsession.

Once the cooler weather comes, I will be home a little more. We have been enjoying our country outings - love the convertible in the summer; great tanning for someone who can't sit in the sun doing nothing.

Cats is on DVD, we had way back before I left the EX, so 7 or 8 years ago. It was the English version of the play taped in England. I don't know he got it but the DD use to watch it all the time.

Not much else is going on here.
