I think this is all just part of living in the land of no consequences. Suing them would take a lot of time and resources, I'm sure. But it may be the only way to get them to pay for their crime so that hopefully they'll think twice about doing it again. They certainly won't be spending any time in jail for it.

I have no idea what the courts will do to them, but thank goodness they were known to others there. And yes...absolutely consult with a lawyer, since most consultations are free.

omg April! I was on vacay so I didnt know you were MIA, OMG what a random act of horrible violence!!! This has left me shivering. Some people are mental! I hope they get actual jail time! Make sure you see a good ENT a broken nose not set right can cause many years of sinus troubles and pain (ask my dh they are going to rebreak his after 15 years)

The ER should have referred you promptly. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the ENT needed to do something within a certain number of hours.

OMG - get well soon , something like that happened to my son leaving the bar one night too and they have no idea why the young lad did it but he was charged with attempted murder , he had a nut at the end of a bar and cracked my son on the forehead.

Well to add a TMI to the story, after the altercation I realized my nose was crooked and broken. I guess I was so full of adrenaline I just grabbed my nose and cracked it back over

Just thinking about it now is disgusting but I didn't even feel it at the time. So my nose is just a little crooked now compared to the really crooked it would have been. So the ER said I'm able to wait a few days to let the swelling go down.

Its really the deviated septum that is annoying me.

Oh my goodness, I'm just glad you were not hurt worse, I can't believe this happened. Man, you never know what could go on anymore.
