Wow, I didn't even know this since I haven't bought them for ages - they aren't available in Canada any more, just the US.
Used to buy them lots when my son was in school, he loved them mixed with other stuff.

For nuts 'n bolts, maybe substitute Old Dutch corn chips? They would come closest to the crunch factor...

AWW that totally bites! Like most people, I have many memories of Christmas time and Bugle treats....sticking them on my fingers and chasing my younger bro and sis around RAWWRRR'ing all the way.

I just found out about a month ago too that you can only get them in the US now. Bugles were a neat snack.

Whoa, I totally forgot about those! I loved the cheese ones. I remember sticking them on my fingers when I was little. Sad seeing things go
And hound, we have twinkies here. Perhaps because I live in a large city?

Lol, I didn't realize you couldn't find them anymore. But they are FULL of trans-fats aren't they? Maybe that has something to do with why they seem to have disappeared. I remember reading in magazines that they were one of the worst snacks healthwise that you could eat. But damn they are tasty! lol

If anyone knows someone who lives in the states and would ship some to me (I'm totally serious here), I'll trade them or pay them with a tip.

Twinkies are available in Winnipeg at Safeway, Sobeys and Wal-Mart. I'm not sure about about SuperStore.
