Wanda. I thought it was your dream to take your mom to Florida.

It was but its just not the right time, she does not have her passport, or me..we could of gotten them in time but no money for all th eother expenses, taxes, food, baggage checkage, gratuities etc etc, I live on aprx 400.00 a month..that has to buy my food, vitamins, unmentionable, laundry, buses to where I need to go..it doesn't go far and plus I am a smoker..I wanted to win the tv but I got the grand prize, I phoned and turned it down, maybe an Sc'r will win....but I have even more exciting news...no not a contest win..I just found out I am going to be a grandma again...and that is priceless, Devy is going to have a little sisiter or brother..I'd take that over any contest win anyday....but in all honesty Im still a little down about and won't be entering anymore contests.

How true that is..I even suggested a girls name to her..what I was going to name my child if I had a girl-Jayna..I love that name..very uncommon...or at least it was back in 1984 lol

Koala put that really well Wanda. It's such a shame about the trip but amazing news about having another grandchild. My two little ones are coming to visit Grandma tomorrow which will really get me moving...

I'm in the same boat regarding contests for trips, I used to enter them hoping I'd win one of the subsidiary prizes, because there is no way we could go away on a trip because of our situation - but then I realized I had to stop, just because of the exact case you found yourself in. It used to be that there would be a cash equivalent for trips, but I notice that is rare now.
