What do you have in your stash that you have frozen to keep from spoiling. I have put yogurt and yogurt drinks in the freezer... and if you put a stick in the yogurt cup.. you make a yogurt pop.
I have also frozen bread.. butter.. and heard of cheese going into the freezer as well.
What else can we freeze the best before date on???This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Egg Creations can be frozen
I also freeze all of my hotdogs/sausages, & grated cheese (and occasionally blocks that I then just crumble on top of whatever meal I'm preparing). If I have fruit/veggies that I won't be able to use up, I puree each of them & freeze them in 1 cup portions to add into sauces/foods at a later date (great way to sneak in veggies for picky eaters as well)
I believe you can also freeze whipping cream.DO YOU LIKE FREE!! SO DO WE!!

Cheddar cheese freezes fine in a block, but then just remember it will be crumbly when you go to grate it once thawed - not good for slicing, but totally tasty!
Also, I freeze bricks of regular cream cheese - it's totally just the same once thawed and creamed to use in any recipe.
I don't like frozen bread or buns - I've done it in the past, but just don't like them after, so don't do it.
Freeze milk or juice - just not in huge cartons because then they take forever to thaw.

Yup, I do green peppers the same way. Freeze them in little batches to use on pizza.
Some veggies need pre-cooking a bit before freezing, though - like fresh mushrooms do, I just saute them a bit first.

Really? I just chop and freeze my mushrooms too! But most other veggies I freeze for winter are blanched.

When I freeze chopped veggies like peppers that were on sale, I flash-freeze them on cookie sheets, all separated, then when frozen, I pop them all in a freezer bag. That way they stay loose and I can take out only as much as I need.
I also freeze those big blocks of cheddar or mozz when they go on sale. Like Natalka and Goddess said, it's fine for crumbling into recipes or on top of anything and takes as fresh as the day you freeze it!
I also don't like frozen breads, buns...and can only use frozen bread for toast. So I stopped freezing them. Also don't like frozen milk, not that I use much at all...
