is this just me or do other find the same? is there site you use to find clothing deals?
( please if your going to delete this thread , let me know so i dont think im crazy as i have posted before and i think it got deleted)

I appreciate knowing about those deals, and for places like Marks Work Wearhouse, too, for example...
For "high fashion", there are lots of other sites which deal with that...

Posts are never deleted, more likely moved to the more appropriate section.
As for clothing deals - it depends on the membership and what deals you guys find and post about. The stores you mention are pretty popular and that's why they make it to the blog. That said, the blog deals posted should be hot, not everyday stuff which I'm seeing a lot of.

I find ON and its sister companies...and Marks etc are the ones that have the deals...I doubt you will ever find a coupon for a couture fashion store...

SC relies on members posting what they are interested in, having very few deals posted by members for any stores other than the ones you mentioned shows the bloggers that there is not much interest in them so even when they do crop up as posts, they are not blogged
Every clothes store in my local mall has a sale on at the moment, but without knowing which stores people are interested in, its not really worth posting
If you seek out some deals and post about them and there are lots of replies, it will show the interest that gets them blogged

People come here to save money,
most because they're already on a tight budget
no one can afford high fashion.
But if you happen to come by some and want it posted, you should make a thread !Previously CanadianBella... I'm baaack!

if you guys are in toronto, orfus rd is a very cheap place to get clothes.
it's a street filled with clothing warehouses. the stitches, sirens and bluenotes warehouses often have shirts for $5, pants/sweaters $5-10, shoes $10-$20 and jackets $10-20. great place for cheap basics

I very rarely rely on SC for clothing deals. I mostly just keep tabs on my favorite stores (online and in store). Right now Smart Set has a lot of great clearance stuff (all of their holiday outfits are marked down and 50% off lowest marked down price). I also find that I'm a very average size, so I normally don't like to wait on sales since my size is almost never there....

that's just the way it is..... each site will attract members of a certain interest/specialty. this one seems to be groceries, household items and coupons..... other sites will have clothing deals, another will be electronics, another will be travel deals and so on.

I(and other posters, of course) try to post all the deals we receive through store emails like for - H&M,Club Monaco,Bootlegger,Holt Renfrew,Le Chateau,Bebe,Eddie bauer,Reitman's,etc etc here in the Deals section. I think you should check more here in the forum than the blog lol,as not all the posts from deals section are blogged.
By the way what stores are you looking for in particular?

Too many clothing deals on the blog make the blog too busy. So we just select the main ones.
