Where's Kitty? Pick a date for us please! Or Screamy. Or Sunraven. Or...anyone! Some of us have dance cards that fill up pretty quick.

On a completely different note, if anyone has been to Food Basics lately, they have a contest to win groceries. You have to fill in the info from your receipt, here's the site:

Just when you thought you mastered the word "fiance". Now you have to remember "husband" (I started with "that one, you know!".

Is there anything we can donate to help out with your wedding stuffs? We can wrap sugar-coated almonds during one of our meets....
I had them as my wedding favours (there were 500+ guests!) and it was fun getting all my girlfriends, moms, aunts, sisters, nannies etc helping out (being slightly tipsy made the task easier too!). And this is what it said on the little card:

Five sugared almonds for each guest to eat[1]
To remind us that life is both bitter and sweet.
Five wishes for the new husband and wife --

Health, wealth, happiness, children, and a long life!

Oh, were we talking about date for the next meet???

I just had a nice conversation with the manager at Food Basics (Wellesley & Parliement) today. He agreed that "one per purchase means one item purchased, not per transaction". He was incredibly nice about it and very apologetic. He would even honour the Sunlight detergent sale a few weeks back (I had problems using coupons with one annoying cashier - big huge attitude!). So we've got a date this Sun.

You betcha I was going to write the review on that cashier (yes it's Lent, yes, revenge is not Christian-like but it feels so good!)

A couple of Hail Mary`s & fish for a week should fix it.

I bet the manager was Ray, and I am almost certain I would recognize the cashier...longish black hair, right? She was the one that said she was "too busy" to look for the coupon policy that is supposed to be "readily available to any customer for viewing" per their HQ. She was so effing rude that I would have gladly slapped her, were I less restrained of a person....

    Good for you!!

Oooh. I almost want to tag along with screamy to this location. It sounds like it would be very entertaining.

LOL if this field trip happens I may need to be in on it!!!
    sooo when IS the meeting???

I may be coming back for alternative fashion week auditions in a couple weeks...not sure how much time I would have though since I would only be going for a day then coming back home for work but if I had time it would be cool to meet more people...its not a for sure thing yet though they keep changing the auditions dates on me!

    Search and win with SWAGBUCKS!
