They have a large bottle of Purell for $3 and smaller one for $2 at Empress Walk Dollerama in North York. They also have the zipper kit in the sewing supplies section.

I bought Martha Stewart galvanized steel measuring spoons for $3. It has a sticker for $9.99 at the back! I already have measuring spoons but I've always wanted metal ones haha. I also bought some other stuff like the cupcake holder to hold muffins as a thank you gift, a betty crocker turn table (got a mixer as a grad present yaaay) and others not really worth mentioning.
Two questions, I also saw the zipper thingies but didn't buy it since i'm not sure how it works, does it work if the WHOLE broken zipper fell off? and one of the markham dollaramas they were out of thank you cards and blank cards then when i went to the stouffville dollarama they were out of thank you cards also!! Coincidence?Last edited by kerpao; Fri, Jun 27th, 2014 at 10:42 PM.

I found a nice neoprene case for my ereader , for $3 and a full page LED book light with magnifier, also for $3.
Also, recently I have found a lot of really nice hardcover cookbooks ( Taste of Home, Pillsbury and an Italian cookbook by Valerie Bertinelli). I also picked up a giant hardcover Oprah book for $3 (original cost $55). It was sealed, but it looks like there will be pictures and articles about celebrities). I can't unwrap it, because it will be a birthday present for my sister, who is a huge Oprah Winfrey fan.

Yes the zipper thingies have a little hinge - you pry them open with your thumbnail and snap them over one side of the zipper teeth - it replaces the ENTIRE zipper head on your sweatshirt or coat. They do feel a little chintzy and you have to make sure you use the right size for the job. It says they are removable and re-useable. I think it'll come in handy on an old favourite kid sweatshirt or if it's the end of the season and your zipper pooches on your kids' coat. It won't match and it is chintzy but I think it'll work well enough for 6 for $2 - won't help if your zipper teeth are the problem.
