I'm thankful that although our problems, fears and pain are so troublesome, we do have the wonderful resource of prayer and the promises of the Bible to give us hope and power.

I'm thankful that even though someone forgot to keep their appointment this evening, I can spend the rest of the night in front of the computer looking my best

with DW @ Harvey's!
It was nice just to be alone together, if only for awhile.

I am thankful for all the people in my life. Seeing someone "live" their last few days, hours, minutes and seconds changes you.
Appreciate each and everyone around you... and let them know it.

Thank-ful to know the elder generation still has time to kick me in my butt to do circles around me while I stop to take that breather.
thankful that my memories are still intact watching others who alzhiemers and dementia that a disease can shatter all that once was to nothing that is now.Live, Love, Laugh

I am very very thankful, that I will not be watching the game. I would rather read a book, or clean a cranny & dust a nook. I will never be a football fan, so watching this game will not be my plan. I will not watch it from across the street, from a comfy chair in a deluxe suite. I just don't get it & I never will as football just doesn't give me a thrill. Others have tried to bring me up to speed, but I do not have that football need. So watch your game & cheer for your team, you can cheer or yell, then holler & scream. You can criticize the officials if they make a bad call, cause you were watching who last touched the ball. So bring on the chili, the nachos & wings, stuff yourself silly with a feast fit for kings. I haven't mentioned beer, cause that is a given & those suds seem to be how all you sports fans are driven. So tomorrow you can replay the game & discuss what went wrong, & to this season, it's time to say so long.

The creme de la creme of football fooleries has arrived,
I will not be watching...but I will not feel deprived,
The way of the game to me, in my uninformed estimation,
Goes on & on & on, in its seemingly endless duration,
Snap that ball & then try to run,
While guys leap upon you, that weigh a ton!
End Zones, Goal Posts are a footballers vision.
& the sounds of the crunch when they have a collision,
Yes, the crowd is hyped and the cheerleaders cute,
and there is an energy that I won't dispute!
Their football trousers do fit snug and tight,
Girl fans don't stare...as it isn't polite,
I'll never get it or comprehend,
I guess football is one I'll never befriend,
But enjoy the big game all you Smart Canucks,
and if you've made a wager, may you win big bucks!!!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

That the hospital is considering my suggestion to paint murals on windows
that are covered outside by plywood.
Darkness 24/7 is no good, especially if you are a patient. You want to look out the window and see some sky and sun if you're lucky.Last edited by Skippy; Mon, Feb 7th, 2011 at 06:32 PM. Reason: Lost a word

That Valentine's Day is coming up, and it's another special opportunity to tell my loved ones that I love them.
