I am very thankful that in my life I have friends who are so much a part of who I am. Friends that I have known for some 45 years plus of my 55 years. We grew up in the 1970's & lived such simple adundant lives. We still get together a couple of times a year & pick up where we left off. They have helped me cope as I live with this illness & thankfully keep the laughs, giggles & sighs front & centre.
International Woman's Day.
I'm sure you all know many inspirational women who have made a difference in your lives, I know I sure do. One of the great things about being a woman is that we all have a sensitive & sentimental side that is always with us. Especially when we are thinking about some of the women that we miss so much.
Girls always remember to have fun,
& protect your delicate skin from the burning sun,
Stick together, share secrets, love & laugh,
& always step up on one another's behalf,
For friendship is a link that binds friends together,
& keeps are hearts in sync always & forever.
