What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful that the truth most always comes out.

Sometimes a bump in the road can take you down a winding curve,
Sometimes situations just crop up & you must rely on every nerve,
Sometimes we must unite when the ducks have been surreptitiously quacking,
Sometimes we learn we’ve been duped – by one, whose integrity is lacking,
Far fetched stories take you to far away places,
Then you’re reminded that falsehoods leave such roguish traces,
The gig is up & the piper won’t be paid,
We’re on the alert & won’t play this charade,
When your trust has be breached, it’s a lesson learned,
One’s reminded that merit should be worthily earned,
We can learn from deceptive maneuvers & proceed with care,
& Smart Canucks are still friends who will always be there.

- some of us regulars have had an encounter with a poster who has been misleading & dishonest with some important things that can happen in life. This post is a dedication to the people who have shared in this unfortunate experience & a reminder to be a little more careful the next time. I've said enough, but I'm still shaking my head.
