just be lucky you arent in mississauga toronto, its frigging crazy how expensive it is,
and even if you look young you still have to get an adult pass cuz they check ID when u buy student passes.
I buy student tickets cuz they dont check ID even tho I finished school last april its $5 less than adult tickets

Our passes are going up to $74/month and the bus only comes to my city one every 2 hours. If you miss your bus you have a long wait until the next one.

Yup, my sister lives in Toronto and pays more than $100 a month - even when she was a student she had to pay that!

Yeah Toronto is 121 a month for an adult pass, out here in the burbs its $88 a month or $3 per ride (you can buy 10 tickets for $25), we have 10 bus routes at a max of every half hour (some are every 15 mins to the GO Train station at rush hour) and they run 10-6 on Sundays
Make an easy $20+ per month with Swagbucks - watch videos, search, play games & get paid!

I would LOVE for DH to be able to take the bus to work every single day instead of having to get up at 5am to drive him since he can't park on the base he works at...grrrr....

Since he doesn't have your typical M-F 8-4 trade in the military (he's a cook), he sometimes needs to be at work at 5am and buses don't start running until like 6 or so...ugh, it's soooo lame!

Around 15 years ago (WOW I AM OLD) the transit in toronto used to cost a quarter... then they hiked it to 50 cents. What a luxury!

And how much is a monthly transit pass for a five year old?

    $52!

That's only $18 less than what we pay an adult pass. It's crazy!

Rant over, I now return you to your regularly scheduled evening.
To make it more bearable see if a store that sells them gives you points.I buy my bus pass at Petro Canada and get Petro Points.

The Victoria transit system allows anyone with an adult daypass or month pass to have up to 4 additional passengers 12 years and under ride for free as long as all get on and off at the same stop.

    $74/month here in Sudbury, Ontario.

Truth be told, I have never riden the city bus. I should one day for the experience. My office is like 40 feet from the bus station and sometimes you see quite the odd ball hanging out here.

I buy SDM gift cards to buy my passes each month, gets me Optimum points. The bus pass itself doesn't earn me any points, but the GCs do!
