Congratulations WolfDio! That is a tremendous feat. Glad to see you are sticking with it.
Last month was my third anniversary of quitting. I still like the smell, so I stand outside with the smokers at the hockey rinks and talk to the hockey parents while standing downwind from them. It is less creepy than standing next to a stranger at the front entrance of a Wal-Mart.

Good morning fellow Canucks!
Yes the freezing rain last night was not a good thing. We tried to take my son to swimming lessons, and I almost wiped out on the driveway just to get to the car. So we didn't go. But I had to take the garbage bins to the curb. I felt like a senior citizen because I was using the bins like a walker.
Fortunately, there was minimal scraping of the car this morning. My big concern after a night of freezing rain is when I go to the Tim Hortons drive-thru, only to find out that my window is frozen shut. It is embarrassing to open the car door to place an order at the speaker. Then you almost have to be a contortionist to open the door part way at the pick up window just to get your coffee behind the door.
Well folks, hope you all have a great day!Last edited by kenrod; Wed, Feb 8th, 2017 at 11:05 AM.

Good morning. From Shy Sweet Buns
Ecatt – does HMV have good deals to clear stock before the close out. I do like Queen at the Rainbow.
Wolfie – congrats on 6 years. I just looked at the numbers for me, pack a day at let’s say at $5.00(it may have been less then but its more now) x 365 days a year times 18 years is $32,850. Now smoking drugs, let’s say $100 per month x 18 years that’s $21,600, so that would be over $54,000 in savings in 18 years. Now if I check my account………dam I should have quit booze.

Well it wasn't icy today, grateful for that as I did a bit of walking to the THS etc etc.
People are really buying a lot at HMV KT's but I don't think the deals are that great, some 2 for $20 or 2 for $30 or 20% off a single CD or 10% of a DVD on it's own, they will go lower but the thing is a lot of the stuff I consider really good is going, going, gone! I couldn't decide on an Allman bros CD so I bought "eat a peach" which I had years ago and when I went back yesterday the rest were all gone.....same with the DVD's...anyways take a look in a while the prices should go down.....
