Las Vegas shooting near Mandalay Bay casino kills more than 20

At least 20 people are dead and more than 100 injured following yet another mass shooting state side. Police confirm the shooting took place during an outdoor music festival on the Las Vegas strip, and while it doesn’t appear to be terrorism, it was clearly an orchestrated attack. Police say the shooter was travelling with a woman, Mary-Lu Danley and are trying to track her down. Several police officers are believed to be among the dead. It’s still unclear if any Canadians were among the victims. More than 40-thousand people were taking in the outdoor concert -- country music singer Jason Aldean was on-stage at the time and has sent his thoughts and prayers to all those affected via social media.

Edmonton attack suspect was investigated by RCMP in 2015

Police in Edmonton are expected to update their investigation into the weekend attack that left five people injured, including a police officer. Mounties say the suspect is a 30-year-old Somali refugee who was once investigated for extremism. He faces charges including attempted murder and participating in a terrorist activity.

We lost another legend.

Tom Petty found unconscious and not breathing.
US musician Tom Petty has been rushed to hospital after being found unconscious following a suspected cardiac arrest.
Paramedics rushed to the singer's home in California on Sunday night after reports that he had been found unconscious and not breathing.
He was rushed to the nearby hospital in Santa Monica where he is reportedly on life support.

Just updated that the plug was pulled on life support & he has passed away.
