Good morning fellow Canucks!

I am just having a blast watching the Olympics. Last night I was watching curling, the Leaf game a little bit of figure skating and the women's hockey game.

I love having CBC, TSN, Sportsnet and even NBC broadcasting. The thing I don't like with when 2 or 3 stations show the same events instead of showing different events, even if they are not live. Isn't that the point? Also, talk talk talk talk, yakity yakity yak, blah blah blah. Shut up and get on with the games! Furthermore, the commercials on all the channels show up at the same time so even if you flip around, you are out of luck.

Other than those irritating inconveniences, I am really enjoying the Olympics.

The first time I was on the Spit It Out game, the topic was "Boys Names" beginning with the letter "L". I can't remember what letter my opponent had, but I lost by 2 names.

The second time, the topic was "Things you do while watching the Olympics" beginning with the letter "C". I remember saying a whole bunch of multiple words, where "C" was in there somewhere, but Joanne gave me credit for one. All my opponent had to do was beat me with two words.

Funny thing, when the 2:00 game came on, Joanne mentioned that she had a contestant in the morning who was "skirting around the answers without coming up with an answer". I have a feeling she was talking about me.

Yes, it would be nice to win 250 bucks, but I was just surprised that I was able to get through twice!

Thanks for the info Kenrod, I would have said Larry, Lloyd and Lance pretty quick and maybe Lenny for the boy's names but the other one on what to do while watching the Olympics would have been harder, I may have said care, cry although don't know if they would be accepted!!! You don't know if the question they give you will be hard or easy, that's the stressful part. Let's try to get through at 2 p.m. would be funny if we both got through and went against each other!!!

I did try to get through at 2:00, but all I got was a ringing phone that eventually hung up on me. Getting a ring tone is the next best thing to Q107 actually answering.

I tried too to no avail! I think I would have gotten one with the letter F - Freezie with the letter M I would have said meat as you need to keep it cold before cooking, would you have gotten more in the 15 seconds?
