    I have noticed a fair number of Canadian retailers offering Black Friday sales. Trying to keep people on this side of the boarder. Sure it will grow in comming years. Welcome news as the Americans know how to have a sale!

    I'm getting caught up on email and just read something rather disheartening - I've been searching for a new opportunity before my current position disappears and one of the options I had on the go has come to a crashing halt.

    After an elapsed timeframe of over 10 weeks and 6 separate trips for 8 distinct interviews, this afternoon I received a "thanks for coming out" email. It was actually a nice email but it was an EMAIL. Really? - Not even the courtesy of a call?

    From over a thousand resumes it was narrowed down to two candidates with one of said candidates being me. Being in the final two out of so many, logically, I should be cool with this. However, at times, my Spock-like armour gets a chink or two. So right now, I'm officially bummed.

    Good evening everyone...

    I took my daughter to an appointment for 3:30 and got home after 6....
    Stopped to top up my fuel at 115.7 and was happy I had gloves with me...
    The wind was almost biting.....

    I have a new cleaning lady starting tomorrow....
    The last one I had was really good, only she kept arriving later and later...
    ant the last time she arrived after 10, with her daughters.....
    So I am looking forward to tomorrow.....
    Yes I work from home, and my bathrooms are clean...
    I do them a few times a week.
    It is the other things I want assistance with.
