The next morning when we were leaving, I asked the lady in the hotel lobby who they were, and she told me they were Toto.... she said that they were "an American band on tour in Scotland"... needless to say, hubby was NOT in the good books that day... we could have had some more pictures and autographs... I checked some images on their websites and none of them looked familiar.... maybe just older???

    Good morning, everyone.

Had a fun time last night at the Xmas Market. We sat outside in the Biergarten drinking beer & mulled wine. It wasn't too bad out in the cold - between the alcohol & the mini bonfires, we were warm & toasty (I can live with smellign like a chimney sweep). I have to type quietly, tho, my friend's still napping. Must be that the blood vessels got a bit frozen last night & they're still thawing out. Can`t possibly be the mulled wines.

I`m off to my folks`later today, won`t be back til Monday (it`s my Mom`s b-day tomorrow).

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

About an hour and a half ago I was getting ready to leave the parking lot of the store I had just been in, and Ryan was on the air from a Ford dealership on the Queensway. Donate a toy, get a ballot for a new Focus. I went back in the store, picked up a couple of R/C sportscars and drove 5 minutes to the dealership. Chatted with Ryan about kids, toys and sports, entered the contest, picked up Jingle Ball invites and some Q swag.

As I left it occurred to me. Ryan Parker - Found On Radio Daily.

    Hi All!

Had a good dinner out and went to see the Musical Box at the Music Hall. They did a good job of Genesis but I would have liked to have heard a few more of their hits, I know they were supposed to do mainly older songs, from The Lamb Lies Down but I found some of it a little too obscure. The place is a good venue for a show.

Nice to have a little little visit with Knottythots and his wife before the show. Wow, is he ever a hard core fan, I think he said he has seen Genesis 25 times, met them a few and seen the Musical Box about 8 times!!!

Students at a local school were assigned to read two books,
'Titanic' & 'My Life' by Bill Clinton.

One student turned in the following book report, with the proposition
that they were nearly identical stories!
His cool professor gave him an A+ for this report.
    Titanic: cost - $29.99
    Clinton : cost - $29.99
Titanic: Over 3 hours to read
Clinton : Over 3 hours to read
Titanic: The story of Jack and Rose, their forbidden love, and
    subsequent catastrophe.
Clinton : The story of Bill and Monica, their forbidden love,
    and subsequent catastrophe.
Titanic: Jack is a starving artist.
Clinton : Bill is a bull artist.
Titanic: In one scene, Jack enjoys a good cigar.
    Clinton : Ditto for Monica
Titanic: During the ordeal, Rose's dress gets ruined.
    Clinton : Ditto for Monica.
Titanic: Jack teaches Rose to spit.
Clinton : Let's not go there.
Titanic: Rose gets to keep her jewellery
Clinton : Monica is forced to return her gifts.
Titanic: Rose remembers Jack for the rest of her life.
Clinton : Clinton remembers Monica for the rest of his life.
Titanic: Rose goes down on a vessel full of seamen.
Clinton : Monica...ooh, let's not go there, either.
Titanic: Jack surrenders to an icy death.
Clinton : Bill goes home to Hilary - basically the same thing.

Ever wonder why it is when people ask you "what three things would you bring with you on a desert island?" no one ever replies, "a boat."

This was my November puzzle on the Mensa Canada website. I will post the answer tomorrow ...

    Noble Prize
November is the month for remembering the noble sacrifices of our veterans and fallen soldiers. There are many ways old and new, common and rare, to give so that others may live. As the days get shorter, is it only the nights that get longer?

Question: A simple challenge this month; decipher this series of numbers:
    42, 92, 16, 73, 6, 2
