No... they did not Play Neil D. on the Q.
Just Announced the Concert and are giving away Tickets.
Like I said... I do not Think anyone else was Calling, so it was a Pretty Easy "Score".
Dominik is giving away more Tickets this week if there are any Closet Fans out there.
I Honestly could not Name 1 Single Song that he has done.

Hope everyone enjoyed their day.
I went over to the Distillery earlier tonight to see Sinter Klaas arrive on a white horse. I love my neighbourhood - where else can you see an angel carrying an umbrella wandering amongst the tourists?
Neither of my roommates came along - they're both convinced they'll melt in the rain. Poor Lily is just miserable - even wearing a raincoat with a hood, her tail & nose got wet. It took us longer to put our coats on than to actually go out, have a 15 second walk & come back inside.
Think I should go give them a treat to make up for the lousy weather.
Night all.

Sweet Caroline is the first one that springs to mind.
Once upon a time, I worked as an extra (wanted to get close to the techies & watch them hone their craft) & for some insane reason was sent to an audition. I actually had to sing Sweet Caroline during the audition. I somehow managed to be in the running for the part. I actually bowed out, when they explained exactly what I would have to do. I was willing to drive an F150 over rough terrain (that would have been the fun part!). But I drew the line at rock climbing while singing Sweet Caroline.

he played one earlier tonight..... 7:29 PM "CHERRY CHERRY" - NEIL DIAMOND
I'm not a closet fan, but even I know "Sweet Caroline" and "song, song blue" and "a groovy kind of love" I'm sure that there may be a few more by him that I would probably recognize.... Actually, when ever I hear a song by Neil Diamond, it reminds me of a trip that Hubby and I took to Mexico a couple of years ago... We met 3 sisters from Winnipeg that we got close to who were Neil Diamond crazy that played his songs on the beach.... I think I was actually singing along after a few way too many Mojitos...Last edited by Lee03; Mon, Dec 5th, 2011 at 10:38 PM.

I am checking out some of these Songs on YouTube now.
Actually... yes... they sound Familiar.
I still do not "know" them, but I have in fact heard them before.
What is making me LOL right now is that the Wife is Singing along to them.
I did not know.
Oh... w*rk got in the way at that time, so I did not hear him play Neil D.Last edited by WolfDio; Mon, Dec 5th, 2011 at 10:54 PM.

Off the top of my head, Sweet Caroline, Holly Holy, Forever in Blue Jeans, Brother something or other's Travelling Salvation Show, Song Sung Blue, ... lots of others on the tip of my brain.
None of these were his biggest money-maker as a songwriter. One huge huge hit he wrote for (an)other artist(s). Any guesses?
