Hi folks, I have a confession to make... A couple of weeks a ago I made the leap to SiriusXM satellite radio. One day on the way to work I decided I was fed up with hearing Derringer's drone. I actually counted - in the 20 minutes it took me to navigate the DVP, I heard commercials, Derringer, more commercials more Derringer, oh and 1 song. And it was the same song I had heard on the way home the previous evening. So, during my lunch break I went to a local shop and ordered a Kenwood radio with a satellite receiver. I have never enjoyed listening to the radio so much! A million channels, with something to please every taste and not a single commercial. Oh ya, and when I registered my subscription the nice folks at Sirius sent me a unit to connect to my home audio system - free!
Sorry for rambling on, but I no longer have to put up with Derringer and Mitchell talking about themselves. I can actually listen to music! Thank you to Shawn at Level12 Audio.

Morning Q sters,
Looks like today is shaping up to be a good one. Laundry drying on the line, house is clean & heading out after lunch to do some hiking, lasagna & garlic bread for dinner & another bonfire tonight. Had a nice bonfire last night, while sitting out looking at all the stars. It was quiet, except of the crickets chirping, a nice evening, all in all. Will miss the Pocono race due to open house, but what can you do. I guess a small price to pay to sell the house.

Too bad about Robert Plant & his laryngitis. Hopefully he'll be back to singing soon.

Good morning, everyone.

I can't believe just how much sleep I'm getting - I average 4-5 hrs a night, I don't think I've spent that many hours awake since I got home. Sheesh. None of my usual tricks are working (can't take any meds, no one said anything about hot toddies ), so it's going to be a slow process. Blech.

On the plus side, I think the short but wide one has forgiven me. He pulled some of my clothes out of the hamper and made himself a bed beside mine (apparently all the beds, baskets and boxes are not enough ).

Still working on getting better - ears are still blocked. Sheesh, I might not be able to hear the plaintive cries of the starving roommates.

PS For those who've been on cruises, did you ever have to share your cabin with stowaways?

The Wife & I are Babysitting for a Friend of ours Tonight, so we cannot go to the Rock 'n' Roll Camp Toronto Jam at the Phoenix.
