Health Canada testing Banana Boat sunscreen as complaints mount

A mother in B.C. says her son suffered serious burns and blisters after using Banana Boat sunscreen. The incident has been reported to Health Canada who says it's received nearly 140 similar complaints in the last 2 months alone. It is now conducting its own investigation. Banana Boat maintains its products are safe and have been approved by Health Canada.

Goodafternoon. Kind a missed Canada Day and the rest of the weekend working. ThoughtI would be finished the dam kitchen this weekend but no, close but no cigar! Thenhurt the back with the floor sander yesterday, rough shape today. But finishedor not I will be in a London Pub three weeks from today. Taking tomorrow nightoff, to go to see King Crimson. Saw them once before at Maple Leaf Gardens, butso Fuc..d Up I don’t remember a thing, only concert with no memories. I have stared at the old ticket stub tryingfor some faint memory but nothing.

I've seen some of the best bands in the world........or so I'm told.

Took the grand-children to Fort George today and learned something myself.

The fife and drum band used in the military were used as signalman.
The fife's high pitched notes could be heard above the sound of musket
fire while the drums low notes could be heard below the sound of cannon fire.

Drummers were 9 to 12 years old and were often killed although they moved
behind the ranks during a battle , cannon balls didn't care!



All armies at that time wore bright uniforms because 'the fog of war' ,smoke from
black powder muskets made the armies unidentifiable otherwise.
If the 'cat was out of the bag' someone was it trouble because it meant the sergent-at-arms
had taken his cat-o-nine tails out of it's carrying bag.
