Banned a few people so far... I'm on a power trip against rude people who are negative and insulting to others

Thank you so much for making this site a great place to be a part of.
I don't envy you your job though.
Like other members have said - after being attacked (a long time ago) I'm unwilling to post in most threads.
I do consistantly post in one thread even if it's just to say "thanks" to other members and I have noticed people missing on that thread and it pains my heart to think that comments from other members have caused this.

I ask on the thread itself because that's the sort of information that we all would be interested in knowing, not just me. And that's sort of the point of SC, isn't it? To share deals with one another?
I don't always agree with people here, but I do try to make a point of never being outright rude. That said, if I do ask someone a question about their brags, I guess it's just up to the mods to decide whether or not I meant anything by it. I'm not about to walk on eggshells because someone might-or-might-not take offense to an innocent question.

why is it we are allowed to have skanks (the coupon skanks) but the bag of dicks thing in the not donating thread is not ok, b.c it is offensive?
how is skank any less worse than dicks?

I am pretty new to this site as well and at first found it a great place to be. As of lately I only post in the trains. The brag section is getting scary. i am a mod on another site. (for baby care) and It is a difficult job. My heart go's out to the mods here. I understand what you go through and you are doing the best that you can do!!! Ty for all your hard work and keep up the great job! Once things clm down I hope that i can start posting more brags again.

I was on the list of people who said something considered rude. (I laughed at something said). Bottom line is this: in my every day life I might say or laugh at certain things. I live according to my moral compass (which I'm proud of) but sometimes I slip up and make someone uncomfortable or hurt so it is my job to try to keep that in check.
I was reminded of the rules (which I broke) and I hope it wont happen again. I should have kept my thoughts to myself. If one person was hurt or offended by what I said, then that is one person too many. We all have different senses of humour and it's just the right thing to do to try not to allow our humour to hurt people.
My $0.02. If I hurt or offended anyone, I am truly sorry. That's not the kind of person I want to be and I would not want either of my 2 daughters to be that way either.Join me on Swagbucks and earn money and giftcards. So easy, so fun!

Yes, I think a lot of it is misunderstanding or assuming malice is in the words because of a few bad apples who do mean what they say in a mean way
