Super Brag: Zellers, Donation, Michaels- I love coupons!

Woohoo! loving the couponing life! okay so here's what i've been up to lately:


Brag#1: Zellers- got the sunlight green clean, 3 bottlesx $4 for each of me, my mom and my sis - MIR. Also got gillete razor on sale for $4.49-$4 coupon. Got dove products, used $2 coupon and earned 10,000 bonus hbc points ...those helped to bring my point total above 80K so now I can redeem for another $10 GC for HBC. used $5 wub 3 for gillette satin care and body wash and got st. ives hand lotion for $0.29 after $1 coupon -yay! after tax, coupons and eventual rebate, my total OOP for all this will be around $5!



Brag #2: the fusion razor from brag #1 was the final one needed to complete 5 men's care baskets for donation. a friend of mine is a "parent" for a group home with 4 teen/young adult men. they were so happy for the baskets which included shave gel, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, razor, soap and aftershave. thanks to great brandsaver coupons for gillette, old spice and coupon trades these baskets were created at a fraction of retail cost. and I'm starting on my next set. thanks for the inspiration and know-how to do this SCers! you're awesome!



Brag#3: Michael's- had to get there for specialty paper to finish my sister's wedding invitations. I had already saved a ton of money from the last paper sale and gladly I had a save 20% off entire purchase coupon on this trip. yay! invitations are in the mail...a few left to finish (they added more names to guest list).

I tried adding pics for each of these brags...but the system stalled. will try again tomorrow. - yay, pics are added!

great shopping. just wondered.. how you received a $10 HBC GC with only 10,000 points. I was told I had to have 80,000 to get one $10 card. did i miss something.
