Went to the Dollarama in Niagara (in the mall) and they are accepting but are NOT coupon friendly. I tried to buy an item and said that that specific item needed to be "pictured" on the coupon for them to accept it. They just looked over and over the coupon to find a reason to refuse it. I told them the coupon could not display every single product but they said that is how they do it. So I will try another one and hopefully it will be better. Anyone try in Hamilton area yet?

I used coupons today at the Vaughan Mills location, the cashier argued with me that they don't take coupons asked for a manager there was no manager but she called another worker and she confirmed that they do take coupons. It took her half an hour to calculate the takes of the items I was buying but there was no problem using coupons at this locations. I bought free Nivea liquid hand soap refill-big ones, st.ives hand cream free, and bought Stride gum for .50c each after the coupons

This is completely true, if you get refused just let them know that the policy changed and coupons are now accepted and ask them to double check with a manager. I did this today-in two stores- and most cashiers don't know about this and give you a weird look but they asked (one even called the manager because she wasn't in) and confirmed it. Its better for the cashiers to double check and learn how to imput coupons in.
P.S Ancaster and Dundas do accept!!

today i went to dollarama and wanted to know about the coupons and ask one of the managers.. she said that they had a memo saying that "only dollaramas at the malls are taking coupons the ones on plazas and the ones that are not inside the malls are not taking coupons. i ask her if there was a reason for that and if there was any chance that it might eventually be on all the dollaramas...she said that for now that is all they are getting from the head office.. i guess we will have to see.. good shopping..

thats awesome...just one question...does it matter if the coupon specifies a products size? My dollarama usually only has travel sizes.
