I had awful heartburn when I was pregnant. I chewed gaviscon like it was candy. Tasted gross (would foam in your mouth) but it worked. I would wake up in the middle of the night, chew a few tablets and then go back to sleep!

And slamming one's stomach against the counter in order to induce vomitting is probably not the best answer. I would think you could do some serious harm.

lol, I never said I do things normal lol
Now it feels like something is moving in between my breasts (but down more) going towards my stomach, I had a few pieces of popcorn from Totem today, feels like acid or something is making it stuck, hard to explain. Kinda freaking out a bit now.LF: $ 4.00 off any covergirl, 2.00 axe,RLF ARMSTRONG cheese, black diamond, 3.00 gain. 2.00 Majesta. Have 5.00 walmart gc.

Try to stay away from heavy fibre, like popcorn, greasy foods, and for now, eat smaller meals more frequently...grazing during the day so that you don't fill up (or feel over-flowed)...if you can tolerate a bland diet for a couple of days, that should help heal things.
BUT! Get thee to a doctor, pronto, Missy!!

If it is still bothering you now, 24hrs after you ate that sandwich, it is time to seek medical attention.

How about TUMS? or Maalox??
But really - this sounds severe - it might have something to do with gall bladder???
Do you have a call-in medical advice line like we do in Ontario at Medi-Health? They ask you a bunch of questions about your symptoms and then give you some advice.
(I must admit, it's usually to see a doctor.)
Chamomile tea might help.

Lynn, I had a bit of tilapia and rice for supper. Not in the mood to eat, which won't hurt my figure whatsoever lol.

Zantac (or the No Name brand that contains Ranitidine 150mg) is the only thing that ever worked for me.
Ranitidine used to be by prescription only, but it's been available over the counter for years now. The No Name brand is significantly cheaper and it contains the exact medicinal ingredient and the exact same dosage too.Join Swagbucks: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/jojoskelowna

I et acid reflux a few times a week. because of such and the fact it leads me to get acid relfux I get a perscription written for this medication called prevacid, its the ONLY thing that works for me, and if I have one, I dont need another for atleast 2-3 days even if I was to go binge drinking and eat a ton of spicy foods.

I had that prevacid before my gallbladder removal, but stupid me through them out.
I will send my husband to town in the morning to pick up some of that zantac, walmart version. Is there any scary side effects? Can it be mixed with other meds do you know?LF: $ 4.00 off any covergirl, 2.00 axe,RLF ARMSTRONG cheese, black diamond, 3.00 gain. 2.00 Majesta. Have 5.00 walmart gc.

My husband has been waking up with nausea every morning for months - finally got it checked out and it is GERD. He can't believe it because he never has the burning feeling. I guess for some people the acid never coems all the way up. He had an ultrasound last week that showed nothing and he is going for a scope at the end of the month just to be sure. I'll have to tell him exactly what you wrote because he doesn't believe the doctor!. I think he's taking the domperidone too.
