A Silly Crying Brag

[Mission]

I called hubby today and told him in teary voice and said, "I won" He asked, "what ? what happen ? the lottery ?" I said, "No, a gift card from SC for one of the top brags" LOL

Today when Calgarymama PM me and told me I won Top Brag, I was like what ? I only ever did one brag ever and that was the women shelter donation brag. I asked where did u hear that ? I was so very surprised to even thought of winning anything. To me, it really was a dream comes true being able to donate while I am out of work for over a year and a half. Just knowing that I could help some families is enough prize for me.

It means so much to me that I could do something for others, to make a difference. It would not have happen if it is not for the kind, generous souls that SC community is made of. It is beacuse people like you who care, who love to see donation posts, who support such cause and keep on giving. I truly want to thank you from the deepest part of my heart for fellow SC members to give heads up on deals and coupon finds and generous trades. Honourable mention to my new best friend, Hcao, who practically turn down FPC from me and set up a "mailbox" for me at her house to store any stackables so I can donate more.

Yes, saving money is important and that is probably why this site was here in the first place. But being able to stretch our dollars and help out others is money cannot buy. And having the support of many SC members here is my biggest win.

Thanks for your time to read this silly long story. It's just been an emotional day for me but also a huge milestone in life.
