Paul came in several days running to do the lead vocal on Oh! Darling. He'd come in, sing it and say, 'No, that's not it, I'll try it again tomorrow.' He only tried it once per day, I suppose he wanted to capture a certain rawness which could only be done once before the voice changed. I remember him saying, 'Five years ago I could have done this in a flash,' referring, I suppose, to the days of Long Tall Sally and Kansas City.

If it werem't for this silly cough of mine (that won't go away), I'd be back to my happy cheerful self. Well, ok, so I'm still my happy self, but my smile is interrupted with coughing fits.

I once trained a chipmunk to sit in my shirt pocket.
Whenever he heard me around, he would climb up my leg, scoot up onto my shoulder and then down into my pocket. Did not matter if I was sitting or standing.
I carried sunflower seeds in my pocket for him.
The BEST was watching the unsuspecting Visitors.
Chipmunks have tiny cold "hands" and it did not matter if you were wearing pants or SHORTS. He would climb.
The screams could be heard for miles.
