    Okay, so I have a quick second to write my birth story, so here it is:

    I had gone from 0-3cm pretty quickly, plus I have always been a high risk pregnancy (I have Colitis and am very anemic) so when my blood pressure would not drop for 2 weeks, my doctor said that we would induce at 37 weeks.

    Friday comes along and at about 9:45AM they started the drip, very slowly. At 11AM, during my daily watching of The Price is Right, my water broke on its own. My nurse said that usually it doesn't happen that way and Olivia was telling us that she was coming out today, induced or not.

    Once I had my epidural at noon, my nurse suggested to my husband and I that I try and get some sleep and after checking me at 1PM and 2PM, I still only 4cm so she said "Relax, it will be a few."

    At 3PM, it was shift change and both my nurses were in the room talking to me and asking me a few questions and finally they checked again and I was at 8cm. Afternoon nurse said "I think we're having this baby in a couple hours." At 4:30PM I started pushing and Olivia was born at 4:56PM.

    Also, Goddess, you hear the Olivia song because that's actually her namesake. I used to work at Chapters back in 2007/2008 and I was in the kids section and I fell in love with the Olivia books. Her room has a bunch of the Olivia the Pig dolls.

    Congratulations! I wish mine had been that eager to get out. Took me more than three days and ended up having to have a cesarean. Stubborn like his momma!

    Ash, you are a champ! I seriously commend you. My labour was short but painful and I can't even imagine THREE DAYS! Hugs to you.

    Olivia is awesome - her books and the show are very good.

    I feel like he should come any day....but back when I was 24wks (LMP) they changed my due date to October 6th, because that's what he was measuring..but my doctor will induce me way before then, if it becomes necessary, since the dates are so far apart.
