Basically the same.

But 50 airmiles = $7 savings at 14 cents per mile.

I think of it as $7 towards my next Starbuck card or move pass.

So definitely a better deal at Safeway.

Is this deal THIS week ending today or next week by the way? I'm thinking I should stock up.

I just want to make sure I'm figuring this all out correctly. Rexall has Purex 16 roll on for $3.99 / pkg this week. Safeway has the 30 roll on for $7.99 and bonus miles of 50 when you buy two.

Is this a fair comparison?

At Rexall I'm paying $3.99 x 4 totaling $15.96, minus $2.00 in coupons for a grand total of $13.96 for 64 rolls. This works out to 22 cents a roll.

At Safeway I'd be paying $7.99 X 2 totaling $15.98, minus $2.00 in coupons for a total of $13.98 for 60 rolls. This works out to 23 cents a roll. This works out to If I factor in the bonus miles, I'm getting an additional $7.00 in AM's, right?

So even though I'm paying an additional $0.60 overall at Safeway, I'll be gaining $6.40 when I redeem for GC's, correct?

I'm sure I've made a mistake somewhere in there...anyone care to wade in and let me know if I'm doing this right?

Thanks to Bob for showing this trick about 20 pages ago. the PDF's are numbered last week was 17 this week is 18. so before they email out the coupons, they post the next set of coupons.

Don't know how far in advance you can access them though.

It's for next week. You might be able to get a little bit better deal at Rexall if you have 2 more of the $1 coupons, but I only have the 2. But if you're an Airmiles Collector it looks like you're still coming out ahead.

ALERT!!!

There is a game in the email direct this week that allows you to get 25x bonus airmiles... if you are able to get the 25x airmiles then you essentially are able to get an average of 17.5% savings, (if you redeem for movie tickets you get a 37.5% savings, and if you redeem for gas you get a 14.2% savings, thats way better than Customer appreciation day).

You need to spend over $60, and cannot use the coupon on Customer appreciation day.

I only got 5x. I chose the yellow flower second from the left. Not sure if they'd be the same for everyone, but maybe try your luck with another flower!

Hmmm....I got the email, but nothing comes up for me when I click a flower. The screen just kind of blinks....

here is a little trick to get 25x its easiest on firefox...

1. open the email and click on the link,
2. install the thingy
3. choose a flower (it doenst matter what one you pick, they change each time)
4. Go into tools and clear private data (make sure the cookies are checked)
5. Click on homepage
6. Click the backspace button
7. choose another flower
8. Repeat if neccesary

It took me about 7,8 tries to get a 25x

Under the old format if you changed the URL the new email.direct would be available sometimes between Wednesday to Friday of the preceeding week.

When they changed the URL format it only came out late Saturday night. Altering the URL did not get you early access. I suspected company lurkers alerted people and they made it hard for us to get it. (Shopper's recently threatened legal action against this site for just this practice). Recently, it seems you can alter the URL and get it early evening on Friday. I don't want to make this overly well known around here incase they decide to change practices again.
