I'm not sure what would happen to your airmiles if you return in store, but Old Navy does have airmiles now. I was in store just yesterday and they asked for the card.

    $20 Gets you 10X = 10 AMs

If you get $30 and have the new key tag you'll get 5 AMs more

Buy a $10 GC or similar get 10 AMs more

    So $40 gets 25 AMs = $2.625 or 6.56% savings

    or

    Skip the $30 purchase. Just get $20 + $10 In Store and get 20 AMs = $2.10 = 7% (slightly better)
Wondering would regular fuel be included or does it have to be premium for the extra AMs.

Has to be V-Power for the 10XsI recall. (As V-Power is $0.10 more per liter here to get 10Xs on a $20 purchase will cost about $1.40 extra to get $1.05 in AMs so a crappy offer IMO)

However, the 5 on $30 gas & 10 in store bonus are is on any fuel.

I was told by one Safeway CSR that Am won't be deducted from my Am acct any more because recent system changes if I returned something that has bonus AM.

So Safeway can't do a price adjustment but allowed me to purchase the mop at 40% off and return it at regular price so I was able to get $10 back.

I did a shop at Old Navy on the weekend and end up getting 16 airmiles on my $36 purchase. They already show on my airmiles account. It was 10 bonus airmiles for their launch and 6 airmiles for the purchase. I'm not sure how the math adds up as it says 1 airmile / $20.

I can't remember his logon but Stirling Eyford used to follow this thread. He's an announcer for the CBC and featured us on the radio show "Sparks" a few years back.

He was the lead story on the local news tonight. Seems some jerk strung electrical tape across a road. Stirling hit it today on his bike on his way to work.

    jaw broken in 2 places
    16 pins
    spinal damage.
    etc.

I'm sure we all wish Stirling a speedy recovery.

    Wholey crap batman!

"(“I was about three minutes from work,” Eyford said. “The first thought I had after I hit the road was ‘Can I make it to work?’ ”
He said he called work first, then the ambulance and police.)" << ok part of me wants to give him hell... but i probably would have done the same thing!

I hope you heal up quickly!
