Add in the $2.99lb for extra lean on the 3 day sale and NOW is the time to use up those old el paso coupons! I have 4 left too! Bob is that special on a warehouse pack of the lean ground beef or a regular size pack?

BTW Safeway is about to have their arses handed to them.... Loblaws has put out a point system in RCSS and they have tremendous value! The best part is you can spend the points right in store... no fuss... no muss... just great offers! It will be coming to west in the near future... their tills are already wired for it here! It asked me if i have the pc points card and showed the brand new cards when I was in there last... I can't wait!!!

Do you know what size the Old El P. Salsa B4G30 2.50/1.71 is? I got $0.50 coupon for the 650ml bottles.

Does anyone know if you can use the personalize air miles more than once? I received a set in the mail and printed a set. I'm wondering if I can use one of each kind. Anyone try this?

I hope it's better than the one they have now. I looked into it before an I had to spend like $2000 to get either $10 or $20.

Wonder if this one can be combined as the date is Nov. 14 - 17 while the newspaper one is Nov. 15 - 17 and the bar coding at the end is different:

Tommy they have bonus points just like airmiles... but better... they have quantium finish on sale for $5.97 this week with a 5000 bonus point deal on it... there are $2 insert coupons... and there is a mail in rebate for b1g1 (5000 bonus points = $5) can you say paid to shop and then some? If you buy 2 and do the rebate you get paid 7.97 to buy dishwasher detergent... a mistake yes?.... but a great one!... the bonus points are just like safeways,,, if we didn't get bonus points it would 2000 bucks to earn 100 airmiles.

The other thing is... you get 5000 bonus points on fresh fruit when you spend 20 there.... and the fruit you can always price match to get the best deal... the overall lower prices plus price matching will make for great deals... safeway has much higher prices and rely s on airmiles to make the products look affordable.

BTW Bob... OMG!!!! did i ever laugh at that comment up there... I was checkin it out! (the comment not safeway's arse)

Fantastic!! We will be moving next year and the closest Safeway will be 2 hours away. RCSS it will be for me. Although I'll miss the flights, retirement and extra money in the pocket sounds great too lol!!

    It's amazing.

While AirMiles gutted their program cutting the average value from $0.139/AM to $0.105/AM, a 25% reduction in value and eliminated the most popular GCs and assisted by Safeway's cut back in bonuses offered the other loyalty programs have improved.

    They're going in opposite directions.

Right now about the only thing keeping me going to Safeway is that RCSS is a 45 minute round trip, but it is near the Costco so I can see us doing bigger shops less frequently.

When I do go it's strictly cherry-picking now.
