    They're going in opposite directions.

Right now about the only thing keeping me going to Safeway is that RCSS is a 45 minute round trip, but it is near the Costco so I can see us doing bigger shops less frequently.

When I do go it's strictly cherry-picking now.
I hope they will do this: http://business.financialpost.com/20...er-group-says/

Just an update on the Best Western Travel Card issue I had. If you book via Internet Only, another company actually processes the payment so the credit card you book with gets charged and can't be reversed. You can still pay for other things like parking, room service etc. with the Travel Card.

On my way to RCSS now! I will be going to Safeway still...i have some rain checks to use up in addition with the old el paso ground beef deal. It will put me over the $50 mark so i can use the $5 off 50 coupon. By the time I am done getting stuff for family I will get 213 airmiles and only spend 17 out of my pocket. My family knows I get the airmiles...they are my little rewards for good deeds done.

Got MULTIPLE CHOICES, nowadays--when my fliers are delivered (paper boy is MIA, so I called the newspaper to get 'em), will take my RCSS, and WM fliers to Target and get price-matched deals, and forget the AM's!!

Maybe the Safeway/Sobeys alliance will get real, unless they are the anomaly in Canadian retail, something that I highly doubt.

Picked up a few deals at Safeway today, Barilla pasta less .50 coupon and Windex touch up less $2 coupon, plus a few of the 3 day specials and that was it. Picked up my RCSS plus card, and bought 3, $5.97 pizzas - 3x$1 coupons got 15000 bps = $15. DUHHHHH!!!!! Safeway is going in the wrong direction with their AM program. All SW/Sobey spies please take note change your ways the competition is making it tooo easy to go elsewhere . LOL

Ok.. you're super happy with a BRAND NEW program that's obviously going to have great offers to start. Trust me, they won't be paying you to buy pizza forever.

I wonder how Walmart will respond, they have obviously become the "odd man out" in the loyalty wars..
