Thread: Safeway's Sweet AirMiles Deals

Ya I'm going to look for something other than BMO. I really like amex the only problem is superstore doesn't accept it. pretty much everywhere else does. I never had a problem with bmo's mastercard department but their bank account system is in complete shambles. I might just dump bmo's mastercard as well and look for a cash back one somewhere else and keep the amex airmiles.

Well if you tell them you're going to cancel your card they'll probably ask what they can offer to keep you. Ask them what the current sign up offers are possibly first year free and 30,000 points or similar and see if they'll match.

Ya I'll see what they say, but I don't think I can believe anything they promise anymore. I'm probably just going to get the scotiabank momentum visa $39 annual fee and 2% back on groceries. pretty much everything else besides superstore can go on the amex. Amex has all the extra insurance I need anyways.

Got the new flyer. Spend $100 Get 100 coupon. not many air miles deals on products. The best thing I see in the flyer is on Jack links beef jerky $4.50 each and B4G25 miles. I'll probably just stock up on beef jerky.
If you like christie crackers B5G50 @$2.49 each
There's the typical kellog's event B5G75 the 275-775g @$3.99 each might be alright if they offer good brands.
Otherwise not much..

yet another response from BMO.
Thank you for contacting BMO Bank of Montreal about a promotional offer. I apologize for the delay in responding.
I am sorry to learn we have not met your expectations regarding promotions.
As noted in our previous message, the promotional targeted offer you've noted was offered by LoyaltyOne (AIR MILES). As such, the AIR MILES reward miles are fulfilled by AIR MILES directly.
in order to resolve this matter, you will need to contact AIR MILES directly at 1-888-AIR-MILES (1-888-247-6453).
I am sorry that I was unable to assist you directly via this forum but I am glad that I was able to guide you through the proper channel for further assistance.
If you have any questions, please contact us again.

Clip,
The B4G2,500 Save On offer is a great one for me.
2,500 points = $15 off on a GC I buy from them. 4 Nature's Valley = $10. I take them when I bike.
So $10 spent = $15 savings elsewhere.
Paid to shop on this one!

well Safeway flyer said marvelous creations were part of the Cadbury promo and of course in store they weren't and tried scanning them to see if Air Miles showed up and no they didn't. They are part of check-out 51 promo so I was looking to buy them.. The workers at Safeway I talk to sure aren't happy with the way things are going either.

Did you get your offer in an email? Mine was from a pop up on the Air Miles web site that linked directly to BMO..

(this page)
Was your offer the same?
Ron.
