It wouldn't surprise me if it was some kind of big theft ring. (Totally freekin stupid tho... they have cameras EVERYWHERE in stores... even pin hole cameras you can't see.) SMH
That's been going on for a couple of years, it's been a huge problem with the points promos at Shoppers drug mart too. They write down (or snap a pic of) the numbers and pins on the back of the cards and then keep checking online to see if they have been activated. After they have been activated they drain the balance by transferring or spending online. It's recommended to try to buy cards that are stored behind the counter if possible, or with a pin that has to be scratched to reveal.

or with a pin that has to be scratched to reveal.
They had a similar problem with Scratch & Win Lotto cards a few years back. Merchants were lightly scratching the hidden bar codes with pins. They would then scan them to see if they were winners and put the non winners back up for sale. I always check to see if they've been tampered with now.

Rexall has a Buy $50 GC Get 40 AM offer on some gift cards. Not as good as Safeway but it's something.

I am not impressed with my local sobeys and the getmyoffers.ca Do these ever work properly? I have used a get dempsters wraps for 1.50 and it was instantly taken off at til. 2 weeks ago i got points for golden dragon sauce added instanly but the 10AM for buying 2 milk was not. Today the 15AM for a 4L milk and spend 45g20 were not added. Customer service tried to tell me the take a couple of days to be added, and to come back if they dont....so i have to take screen shots of my offers which are expiring in 2 days to then fight them for 35 Am?
Does the bill total include the fact that I bought my oop down by using coupons?

I am pretty sure these are instant offers. It doesnt state a waiting period in the details...urg

Called the help desk and it was nothing like dealing with airmiles...she instantly added the missing miles. 🖒
