Oh wow, more new birdies. Must be spring! That is so very nice that they are happy there. Obviously I love birdies. I've had budgies and Alexandrine parakeets. My husband had a Jenday Conure that was a one man bird.

Natalka, so far I have not heard that sound they make when they are all screeching to be fed at once. That sound is the real tip off of new ones as the chirp is so different and pleading! ( the same way any species of baby cries for food I guess)
The actual bunch ( the whole lot of them ) never stop being noisy all day the minute the timer turns the light on in their room, but I am used to that sound.Last edited by walkonby; Tue, Feb 7th, 2012 at 05:21 PM.

walk, they will keep mating and laying eggs, if ya don't want more babies remove the eggs. They're as bad a bunnies lol. I had 23 of them at one time..yikes lol. I love the "mee mee" sounds they make. I had some that sounded that a fax machine, or dial up lol. Have you seen the gouldian finch? They are sooo pretty, not to mention pricey.

My SIL and her hubby also have a lot of house bird pets. They are always having babies. I think theirs are mainly Budgies. So cute and yes, very noisey.

I just " checked " them again. so funny! I am always so very amazed that I do nothing different, these Momma and Dad birds do it all for them till they fly out. Just love it! I will put pics up at some point, but I want to respect their space, and NOT touch them at all right now.

I couldn't wait, I just had to take a couple of pics. It is hard to get them to look cute in a photo, because they are still sort of featherless.
