It's like the one we had in our former home...the branches go right down to the floor, so we had to keep some off just to accommodate presents! I miss seeing it..now that we've downsized, we have a smaller tree; it's lovely, just not enormous...sigh....

I'm wondering about the left side of the pic - can you explain what it is (fireplace, tv?) - is it just the tree ornaments reflected, is that a row of candles? Are those Christmas animals at the bottom?

Well we are putting ours up tonight. My job later today is to make room in the living room and my husband's job is to pick up a box of chocolate!! My dad started that tradition when I was a kid -my kids are very grateful, lol. When you decorate the tree you must have chocolate too!!

We put up the tree last night and made room for it, as there is a lot of baby stuff all over. Now I just have to find the time to put up the lights and decorations. That can take all week!

We put it up Christmas Eve....and it comes down before Jan 6...whatever day I get to it!

I did it. I've always loved those little reindeer with fluffy feathers around their necks at Bou Clair, so today I bought two (a mommy and a baby) in white, and two green tinsel trees for them to stand beside...I don't want to put up my Christmas village this year...this will do nicely....
