Some years my husband and I exchange gifts and others he just buys for me depending on how much he's spent on his hobbies that year.
Well this year I bought a set of Lagostino pots not long ago and didn't think he'd get anything else but I think DD has been talking to him (17) about going out with him to buy me gifts. So tonight he asked where my list was?I do have stuff but I want to know what others are hoping for. In case I've forgotten something. What's on my list so far:
Perfume ( whatever my daughter thinks is suitable works)
Digital picture frame
Mirror that extends from the bathroom wall
Shiatsu back massager
Driving gloves
There's the reg stuff like pedicures, full day spas, slippers. So what are you asking for? This thread is currently associated with: N/A

I actually didn't ask for, nor want anything for Christmas (I never do) other than maybe a nap or two. I did get an Ipod Touch a few weeks ago though, so I'll call that my gift lol
I don't own, wear, or even like perfume - I have asthma & this can lead to respiratory problems for me
I don't own, wear or like make up
I hate being given flowers
I very rarely wear any jewellery other than my helix piercing even though I have 5 piercings - I just don't always have much in them
I'm impossible to buy for lolLast edited by KrazE; Sat, Dec 17th, 2011 at 12:07 AM.

the only thing i mildly want is maybe knicknacks that i dont get any other time of year.i dont usually buy perfume until the holidays,i stockpile it while it's cheap and clothing i usually dont buy for myself during the year,so usually that is what i ask for.and kitchen gadgets.i am really not hard to buy for.

Books, Final HP movie and a trip to Singapore (which one will I mostly likely not get...
)
I really dislike it when people get me personal things, as I don't wear perfume, don't use half the products in gift baskets, and love the thrill of clothes shopping myself.

I don't really have anything specific on my list, and I think I'm easy to shop for.
I just like to be surprised. Even if it's socks I'm happy. I just don't want to know until I open them.

My partner and I don't exchange gifts. There's nothing I want for Christmas, besides health and happiness for my family and friends.
That said, my dad bought me a bird feeder (he delivered it this weekend) and a big bag of bird seed. It was a really nice idea and something I would have probably never bought for myself, so I was quite tickled by it and the thoughtfulness behind it. LOL, it's better than his usual - $50 in a card plus some stuff he picked up at the previous year's boxing day sales.

I've been helping my parents and eldest brother [and his wife] buying gifts for our other brother, his young kids and his wife. They say they are hard to buy for.. no they just don't talk to them or really listen but I talk to my SIL pretty much every day [mostly she talks i listen and give input, etc lol]. I caught the gift that was for my niece when my dad said it was okay [he didn't put the name candyland to the box but once he saw the box he was "oh **** no they had that game for 2 years] so my brother and his wife had tog et something else which turned out to be good because they found a hello kitty version of the game trouble lol [new SIL loves hello kitty as does my niece so lol].
I wanted a new xbox..since mine was having major issues reading discs.. i was super p.o'd as i got my xbox as the 2008 bundle pack with 2 year warrenty... 2 weeks ago my dad took it to a guy he found on kijiji we thought it was a $70 repair..turns out it was a $20 cleaning... it was so DIRTY and dusty in there the guy took pictures because nobody he talked to would believe him! OMG -.- He had to take it out on to his balconey to clean it lmao...so i'm happy=)
I toldmy dad that i know moneys super tight and I was done for christmas and i was content.. but we went out to sutton because we got a flyer that the thrift stores [2 in sutton and 1 in keswick] was having a 55% off everything [aside from new arrivals and new mattress']sale. and the stores opened at 930am so friday we went in got a very nice GRACO stroller for my sisterinlaw [was 20 bucks for it for under 10 bucks!!! needed alot of cleaning but it sparkles like new=)].
In the keswick store [sooo cluttered and crowded but it was fun had to look and move everything. I did 50 laps around the store and found tonnes of things!] My dad found a Super nintendo with all the controllers, ac powerplug etc and lots of games [only grabbed 1 game i liked though] was 30 bucks got it for under 15.. holy crap I was sooo excited.. got it home and all plugged it and it works [oh and all wiped off lol]
I found 3 games for the snes on kijiji and my brother and sil went and got them for me [I paid half and my parents paid the opther half; 'ho ho ho'=)] for $40 so I'm all set for christmas.. go figure.. we had all these machines growing up and got rid of them for better consoles.. now we're buying them back as adults lmao [you really got to shop around for those older games.. lots of places want $50 per game what crap].
I like seeing my niece and nephews getting things for christmas more than myself so that's what i tell my parents.

I want health and happiness for all.
We dont exchange gifts except secret santa and I asked my santa for ps3 games.
I like surprises, so I dont care, I do enjoy getting nights out like food and movies. I'm not really picky except I dont like people picking out clothes for me, one year my bro got my sister a training bra......boy was that awkward considering she was in her late 20's and not in need of training LOL
I just want dinner the most.....ugghhhh I've been starving myself since Dec 1 to make room for red cabbage and bacon, turkey, stuffing, and all the extra's. Mmmmmm!
I kept all my old games and systems LOL and I love em! I'm happy I did considering some games are over $100 now, more than what I paid back in the day. I still play them religiously.....Last edited by gameprogirl; Mon, Dec 19th, 2011 at 02:30 PM.
