Got asked to do a presentation on Couponing

The Parent Link Centre in my town has approached me to do a couponing presentation!
I go to the Drop in Playgroup they run. I usually go on the day they get extra papers and grab extra coupon inserts. I have shared my deals with the facilitator. It's going to happen sometime in January. I'm excited to help some Mom's in my town to save money!

I often thought that would be a great idea to provide to different centres and what not to help them save money, especially if your on a tight budget...I have never seen a program like that so I thought they should offer something like that too!

I heard of the coupon lady teaching coupon classes but I believe she charges for her classes and doesn't permit anyone to speak about what they learned (at least from what I read on her site). It seems a little odd to me, living in a country with freedom of speech. And I wonder if people actually learn anything new than what we learn from this awesome SC site? Just wondering....

I've wondered this myself. I think the main "lesson" in her course is stacking, so if you've already figured that out, is it worth paying for it (I think it's $25/peson)??? Not sure but I'm curious

That's excellent that you are going to do a presentation! I've done a small one for the ladies group at our church and it was really fun! The first thing I did was put out some common household items (laundry soap, shampoo, body wash, deoderant, pads etc) and went through a couple of them and asked them the typical shelf price and then to guess what my cost was. I found that it was a good way to get things started and catch everyone's attention right from the start. Have fun!!!!
