We decided not to install the AC this year -- it's not worth losing all that sunlight for just a few days of unbearable heat.
Yesterday I spent the day cooking ... had my oven on for over two hours. The house was hot. hot. hot.
The boyfriend came home after work and installed the AC. Didn't even discuss it, just told me flat out he was installing it and asked where the duct tape was.
God bless the boyfriend.

Patty ... slow down.
When did you buy these zip locks?
I see they're on sale this week at Maxi for $2. How come you payed only $1.
Explain. Slowly. Please.
Oh, and are there any coupons for sandwich sized zip locks out there?
Merci.

I am an idiot!
Went to maxi. Did not want to buy big ziplocks. But I saw them, with the coupons for $4 off produce. Put a box in my cart ... even though I don't need them, I'm paying $2 to get $4 off fruits -- so I am making money by buying these bags, Right?
Just got home, opened the box of ziplocks, ran my hand through the box, no coupons. got angry for a minute. Then looked at the outside of the box again.
In my excitement, I ended up buying a box of normal ziplocs, no mention of any coupons on the outside.
I am an idiot.

Yoplait Tubes 8pk are $2 at Maxi. There's also a coupon zone coupon for $0.75. Comes out to $1.25.
I hear you can freeze them and eat them like a Mr. Freeze.
My box is currently chillin' in my freezer.
