    First....I don't normally do very well with couponing, altho I am learning and I do better and better each month.
    Second....I find Safeway very expensive, and usually only shop there on Customer Appreciation Days.
    Third...I am not one to brag, nor have I posted a brag here yet.

    But I am very excited about my Safeway trip today. A special thank you to a member (lizzie bargain) here for telling me about the egg coupon in an email...that is what made me go there today. Okay..on with the good news.

    I bought the following:

    24 case of Pepsi regular 11.49 card price 6.99
    3 x dozen large eggs regular 9.03 with coupon 3.99
    4 x always pads BOGO offer 9.48
    2 packs duracell BOGO offer - 1.00 coupon 7.49 + 50 airmiles
    Olay toner coupon 50% off 2.89
    2 x bagels regular 8.98 with coupon $5.00 + 20 airmiles

    saved $35.39 Paid $38.70 (incl tax) 50% savings with 71 airmiles
    Clerk said that is the most airmiles he has seen with a checkout under $40.

    So not super great (would have been better had I already not used my always, olay and egg coupons)...but I am happy!
