how's it hanging? i'm all caught up reading todays posts and i've just got to say: "you guys are the best!".

i've certainly fallen behind posting winning words, et al, but my spirit is with you. my computer has crapped out so i'm at my kid's place, but they're starting to yawn.

anybody have any idea when derringer's breakfast will take place. oct is tres busy for me and i really want to attend and meet some of you in person...michele, and kenrod? and someone else? forgive me, your name escapes me...along with a lot of other stuff.

seems like we were all tuned into cbc as kids; rabbit ears or cable. nobody mentioned "chez elene". she helped jerome and the gang fill the half hour.

Depending where and when you grew up there was always the TV stations out of Buffalo (Rocketship 7, Bowling for dollars, CHCH out of Hamilton (Party game, house of Frightenstein), CKCW out of K-W (Big Als' Roundhouse). May be too far back for some.

Not sure of the exact date but the Derringer Breakfast's usually take place on a Friday. The DCG contest wraps up by 8:59a Oct. 30 so my guess is that the breakfast is that Friday morning. There is the chance to get inside the "money machine" ... probably not a good idea for anyone to wear a skirt that day.

I think the other DCG player from the thread was Jenny222...hopefully there will be more of us getting calls in the weeks ahead.
