I saw Pink Floyd back in 1996 during their Division Bell tour. The concert was held at the CNE during the Festival of Fire. The concert didn't start until 10:30 that Wednesday night because of the fireworks at Ontario Place. I guess Pink Floyd, who is known for their visual displays, didn't want to compete with the fireworks. Anyhow, I didn't get home until about 2:30 in the morning, and I had to go to work the next day.

BTW, the concert was amazing!

i don't keep concert ticket stubs anymore, but...
are you sure it wasn't 1994? july or august? cne. quite a night. my first rock concert ever without a single mind or mood altering drug or drink...that's why i remember.

I saw Pink Floyd at Exhibition Stadium in July 1994 when I was all of 22! It completely rocked! The smell of herb throughout the crowd, the light show, the huge blow up Pig flying around us overhead, and this huge diamond shaped contraption that came out of the centre of the floor section and lit up the whole stadium are the things I can recall best about the show.

Thanks everyone for the overnight and weekend codes. I spent Sunday chilling with my kids and enjoying the gorgeous weather we had. Have a great work week!

i should have read everbody's posts before directing my comments to kenrod's! actually, i made the similar mistakes twice at work today. yapping when i should be listening.

anyhoo, i guess pink floyd was here in '94 and '96. that's the 1900's "fer them there yung-unds"...which reminds me; the 'blue collar guys' are coming to the acc. that would be a laugh, but too big of a venue for me.

...speaking of 'not remembering', i bought a couple of tickets for gordon lightfoot last oct(08)? and i have no clue where i put them! i know the concert's this month(?), pretty sure i paid with amx(?), i knew the concert was a long way off(at the time of purchase)/ 'cause i was thinking gordie wasn't looking very well these last few years - but figured he might still out live me...?...gotta go.
