I like contests too. Can't remember the last time I won one, tho. But I hit the jackpot when I found my critters (or rather, they found me), so have no complaints.

Off to bake some brocolli cookies for them (the aroma is overwhelming, but they're happy).

thanks, I usually win atleast something on the call in contests but I've never won anything when it comes to the draws, here's hoping my luck will change with either or both of these contests. Thanks again!

Well, it's time I stepped out of my comfort zone, so here goes. This one's for you, Loocie!


Of all the folks who hang out here, there's none who can compare
With the gal from near Toronto with fair skin and reddish hair
Who brings a smile so often with her synchopatic prose
We all are sympathetic when she speaks of hubby's nose
That vibrates oh so loudly while our Loocie tries to rest
I'm sure it drives her mad and puts her patience to the test
It's bound to make her crazy when the bed begins to shake
And the sounds of all that snoring, makes it feel like an earthquake
Has come to old Ontario to wake her from her sleep
She must just want to shake him, say some things like "Holy Bleep"
Instead she comes to us and asks for help and sage advice
To help him overcome it, and to make her bedroom nice
For our Loocie to dream sweetly, think of all things Mighty Q
So she can scribe another poem that brings joy to me and you
So let's help her with this problem, find a permanent repair
And make Loocie's home the quietest, any time and anywhere!
