Of course you're talking about the folks who aren't using 3, 5 or 10 year batteries and aren't hard wired without a battery backup. I had a friend call me to show him how to change his batteries but by the time I got there the alarms were sounding. He had taken one apart broke it and set all the interconnected alarms off. The best part there were no batteries to change.

Yea really guys those smoke alarms are serious business, that poor lady who lost her husband and 12-year-old daughter last weekend....they say there was a problem with her smoke alarm.......enough said, make sure its working!!!!
