It is presently ratings season on the radio stations. If you happen to listen to other stations, you will notice that most are now offering large prizes (in the GTA) for their contests. A sister station of Q's has a similar contest to the cash grab and someone earlier today mentioned that CFRB has a contest to win a trip to the Masters. You can bet, Lady Ga Ga was no accident. It was their way of testing their audience.
The music surveys are to see if their audience- listener-ship has changed, and if so how and why. That is also the reason for the survey we all received the other day, where it asked our approximate ASL. and other reason why we like Q or not. etc.
They will not admit they played Lady Ga Ga to see if they would get any feedback, phone calls emails... etc. It is one way to received quick almost instant feedback from listeners. Obviously our group was not impressed and at least some of us let them know.

Also, Part of Q's website was down before. I was not able to enter or access club Q at all. has anyone else experienced this in the last hour?

I've been a fan of Q-107 since they first went on the air back in 1979 or 1980? But I have to say with playing kak like Lady GaGa etc., I'm liking my I-Pod a lot better. Psychedelic Sunday is the closest I could get to calling anything "sacred", I hope they don't f**k with it.

I just got a new van two weeks ago, and of course When I came out of Rona there was a big dent in the back door thanks to whomever.

the first one hurts the most...There is no sence in thinking it wont.. My saturn looks fantastic due to those plastic parts.. but metal is soooo less forgiving..

I have to ask the same thing I asked last night. Did anyone actually HEAR them playing Lady Gaga at about 5:30 on Sunday? So far, we have a bunch of people complaining that they heard that it was played because someone saw it on the playlist. But nobody has come forward to say they were actually listening at 5:30-ish and they heard the offending track.

Good morning, all. It's wet & cold, yuck!

Taking my Mom to a taping of Steven & Chris this morning, should be fun. & if you have to ask who they are, you're really out of the home decor loop, apparently. Or so I've been told.

They tape The Hour in the studio next door. A lot of the door prizes they gave away during our taping last week were "misapropriated" from Steven & Chris' prize vault, lol.
