May I kindly suggest if you guys want to post 'humour' thats innaproriate for the board you just make a private social group?

We do have regular members that are as young as 12 on the board and I can see why it would offend some, I don't think we need to call the prudes or anything of the such, its why Sc is such a great place because of the diversity of the group and so many different wonderful people.

While I can handle dirty humour the next person may not, If you created a private social group you could post all your stuff and only approved people that want to see that stuff will.

Just an idea really.

Eta. What worked perfectly for the P and P was the p and p thread continued (cleanly) and there was a wiki posted on the first page, if you go in there and ask I'm sure theyll all tell you they are very happy. Last year someone tried making a 'chit chat thread'' and a ''p and p word only'' thread and it ended in a huge kaboffle, I really don't want to see that again.

I'm not trying to step on anyones toes im just throwing out suggestions because everyone needs to be happy, while respecting everyone else :D

I just am going to add something here. This is a Q-107 thread. We all have often gotten a little off topic and had some fun. But,it was fun intended for all of us...............NOT an adult site with "adult" humour.
I am a person who tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
This forum has helped me in my day to day life sometimes. My struggles with cancer and the well wishes I have received from the people on here have been a tremendous support to me.
The point I wish to make is that it WAS a Q thread and the analogy of being hijacked that Carrogirl used has a ring of fact to it.
Like many other people, I don't enjoy scrolling through page after page of REPETITIVE "light adult humour".
No wonder people are leaving.

"REPETETITIVE" is the key word here... everything in moderation.

(And at times I have been as guilty of that as anyone else here.)
