still would love a link in quick links or profile to see all my threads and all my posts not just recent ones.
Sometimes I want to checkout a post I made and now it is impossible to find.

I am trying to find my post about the green arrow for flyers and I can not find it.

If the site is upgrading to vb4, then is SC also integrating Google Adsense through vb4?
Adsense uses Tracking cookies that can be deemed to be threats to privacy.
If you're using Adsense, will the privacy policy page be updated to inform SC users of this Program collecting direct information?

No at the moment I'm not integrating adsense with vb4.... didn't even know such a feature exists in vb4... will have to look into it now that you mention it hehe

I think you already are using Adsense. Adchoice ads appear in the right side of the screen. Adchoices is the name that google gave ads by Adsense. So you may want to look into informing all SC users that this program is in place.

ADsense was replaced by ADchoices. You can clearly see ADchoices in the ads displayed on SC. They are one in the same.

Click on one of the ADChoices links on an ad on SC (it may say ADchoices or just be a blue triangle). You will clearly be brought to an ADsense Help page explaining privacy, and information about ADChoices and ADsense.

Google recognizes the number stored in your browser on the DoubleClick cookie, and shows ads related to the interest and inferred demographic categories associated with that cookie.

Could you let the users know (as it's a privacy issue that requires a disclaimer), or find out more info on this ad choice for SC. I did bring this up before but it wasn't fully address.

Grr... I just changed it this morning on FF so it was the smiley easter egg painting, and below it was a strip of Ukrainian eggs.
Went to IE just now, and two red X boxes just show up. SO in IE, I tried to redo it the same, but it would only post one pic at a time, so I just uploaded the smiley easter egg.
Can you see that?

Thank you for updating the privacy policy to include this
Perhaps a mass PM or some type of notice to all existing members should follow.
Also, what is the best path on SC to find this policy (if you didn't have the direct link)?

I don't really mind going to a site about travel, and then seeing ads about hotels, actually might help me out in my trip next year lol. Also I actually hope SC doesn't send me an email, especially after that mass email was sent to everyone a few weeks ago by "accident".

I'm not concerned, as long as I'm aware that this site uses it. However, how often to current SC users check the privacy policy. Boo, and at least one mod didn't know the update was using ADsense. Until I brought this up, there wasn't even a direct link on the updated SC to find the privacy policy. We sign up for freebies and coupons all the time that tell us similar third party use of information will occur, I think SC should just let its users know of this update too.

But its really the users responsibility to check the privacy policy but I guess thats just me. I still don't know how it effects privacy that they have anonymous user data not linked to you personally. Too many people complaining about every damn thing under the sun is what gets on my nerves,lol.

5 Yellow Stars = 1 Blue Heart

You need 750,000 reps for a blue heart
