May 1 update-Brothers Operation Cancelled Due To Cavity on Lung

my brother went for pre-op yesterday he was suppose to start fasting today at noon for an Operation tomorrow but his wife got a phone call that they were cancelling the operation because his Chest x-ray showed a spot on his lung,they are sending him to St Catharines for an MRI.As of 11:00 am he did not know any of this, he was coming home at noon to start his prep for his operation tomorrow. it could be nothing, it could be something..only further testing will tell us, so Im asking please for a little prayer, thank you very much,

my brother is going for tests next week,he thinks its pneumonia.
I am a little ticked at my sil though..maybe I shouldn't be...long story short..she is going to las Vegas with her Mom..sometime after the 22nd of the month..
I said what if you and my brother get "not so good news"..she said she was going to Vegas with her Mom as it may be the last time she(her mom) might be able to go...she's in her 80's.
Myself I would put off the trip until I at least knew what I had to deal with,what if my brother gets negative test results while she is away..where is his emotional support from his wife?..at a las vegas casino??
Am I wrong to be a little upset at this?

My DH's friend was in a car accident recently and they found spots on his lungs as well during the post accident xrays - He thought the worse and was very upset - Turns out after further Scans (both MRI and CT) it was a Lymp Node that was irritated due to fighting an infection. He has to follow up with it for the next 6 months but so far so good - Just wanted to share so you know its not always the worst senario.

thank you all very much..I have an update...this is from my sil.(doctors office called her today)..Test results came back, there is something on his lung, we want to discuss it with you tomorrow morning@ 11:00 am and the doctor wants him to see a specialist in Hamilton.
I asked her what type of specialist and she said they wouldn't discuss anymore but she said she didn't have a good tone in her voice....hopefully she is just reading into it wrong...and she is "not" going to vegas(thank goodness)
So tomorrow we will know more...so please...slip a prayer in for my brother...very very much appreciated..thank you

there is a lesion on his lung..which could be many things..
A lung lesion is abnormal tissue found on or in a person’s lung. It can be the result of an infection or illness, which may clear up without causing the patient long-term problems. For example, some lung lesions develop because of tuberculosis or pneumonia infections. Others may be non-cancerous cysts or scar tissue. Unfortunately, however, the discovery of a lung lesion can also mean the patient has cancer.

He is on antibiotics and waiting for an appointment to see a Chest Specialist in Hamilton

another update...my brother went to St Joes in Hamilton and he has a cavity on his upper right lung about the size of a clementine, he is on strong antibiotics and will be getting more Ct scans, they did more blood work and also did a saliva sample, if in 8 weeks it has not cleared up , he will have to have part of his lung removed, so prayers that the antibiotics work.

Does anyone know what type of clinic is located across from St Joes in Hamilton,ON?
my sil called and my brother has to go there and when I asked what type of clinic she couldn't remember...I was just curious..thank you
